April Council Highlights
Council Welcomes YOUR Input! - Your brothers and
sisters on Church Council want to do what is best for our
church and welcome your comments, questions, and feedback.
Please feel free to address your comments or concerns to any
member of Council. In addition, if you have an issue
you wish to bring before Council at a meeting, contact
Lawrie Merz so that we can make a place on the agenda for
you. Remember: Any member of the congregation
may attend Council meetings, which are scheduled for the 3rd
Monday of each month. The next meeting is April 20th
at 7:00 PM in the Parlor.
Special May Congregation Meeting to be held - A
special congregation meeting will be held after each service
the weekend of May 16/17 to transfer money from the
Sadler/Goudy Vanguard Investment Fund to pay for much
needed building maintenance and repairs.
Treasurer's Report - St. Paul's is operating with
a 29% net loss between actual giving and actual expenses,
year-to-date. Finances continue to be scrutinized to
minimize the impact of expenses exceeding giving.
Bells / Chimes Director to Retire - After serving
St. Paul's for 12 years as Bells / Chimes Director and
substitute organist, Ruth Erb is hanging up her bells to
officially retire from music ministry. A farewell
luncheon is scheduled for May 17th to honor Ruth. May
she finally be able to travel and enjoy spending time with
her ten grandchildren!
Monthly Newsletter is now available online by

Next Council Meeting is scheduled for Monday, May
18th at 7:00 PM in the church parlor.
