Christian Education Ministry |
|
Mission: To provide a life-long program of
Christian Education that will enable members of all ages to
learn the Scriptures and Lutheran teaching; apply these
techniques to their daily lives; enhance understanding of
themselves as members of the congregation; and encourage
their involvement in all aspects of congregational life.
St. Paul's members have the following opportunities to share
their gifts with Christian Education:

Adult Education Ministry Teacher / Coordinator |
Serves as a coordinator or teacher / facilitator providing
learning experiences on special interest topics and bible
studies. |
|
Christmas Pageant Coordinator |
Serves as coordinator for this annual event.
Participants include children and musicians, who share the
story of the birth of Christ in traditional or contemporary
settings. |
|
Girl Scout Sunday Coordinator |
Serves as coordinator with Girl Scout Troops to participate
as ushers, lectors or greeters. |
|
Lent / Easter Programs Coordinator |
Serves as coordinator for these annual events. Lent
includes Wednesday lenten suppers. The Easter program
includes The Passion of our Lord. |

Rally Day Coordinator |
Serves as coordinator for this annual event. |
|
Reformation Sunday Coordinator |
Serves as coordinator for a joint Sunday School day for ages
Pre-K through sixth grade. |
|
Sunday School Teacher |
Provides our children with a solid Christian foundation
utilizing a lectionary curriculum based on the liturgical
scripture readings. |
|
Sunday School Substitute Teacher |
Serves as a substitute teacher on a Sunday to Sunday basis
to cover absences of regular teachers. |
|
Vacation Bible School Director |
Coordinates all phases of the summer Vacation Bible School
program; including publicity, registration, arts and crafts,
music and story tellers. |
|
Vacation Bible School Support Staff |
Assists in the various areas needed for Vacation Bible
School held every summer. |
|
Youth Sunday Service Coordinator |
Coordinates with the Pastor and church musicians in leading
worship. Elementary to college age children are
invited to lead all aspects of worship, except presiding at
Eucharist. |
