Support Ministry
Mission:  To make ministry possible by exercising responsible stewardship of human and material resources; planning and administering the congregation's program; managing funds, property, and personnel; facilitating communication; recruiting, training and supporting congregational leaders.

St. Paul's members volunteer to supply the church with the following positions to assist Witness Ministry:

Stewardship Committee This ministry area consists of a team that encourages members to share their time, talent and resources in the ministry of the congregation and throughout the world.  Coordinators are needed for each area (i.e., ELCA World Hunger Appeal, Planned Giving, Mission Partners).
Volunteer Ministry Assists in helping members discern their God-given gifts and talents and how they might best be used in our ministries at St. Paul's.  This team maintains information relating to our members' skills, interests and hobbies and assists chairpersons in need of volunteers.
Finance Committee Provides for responsible management of all financial assets of the congregation, including the preparation of an annual budget reflecting realistic anticipated receipts and expenditures that support the congregation's ministries.  This committee strives to strengthen the financial position of the congregation through all appropriate means.
Audit Committee Reviews the congregation's current accounting policies and procedures with members of the financial staff, examines selected documentation supporting the congregation's annual financial statements and reports its finding and recommendations for improvement to the Congregational Council.
Sunday Offering Counters Counts the weekly offerings from the weekend worship services and Sunday school.
Hanging of the Greens Coordinator Identifies the materials needed to decorate the sanctuary during the Advent season.  Announces the event and submits purchase orders to the parish administrator.
